Clarendon 1995/2023 – 27-Year-Old Finest Jamaican Rum
A monumental single cask Clarendon, distilled in March 1995 and bottled in January 2023 after an astonishing 23 years of tropical aging.
This 27-year-old pot still molasses rum showcases the deep, full-throttle character that has made Clarendon Distillery legendary among Jamaican producers. Bottled at a formidable 64.7% ABV, uncut and unfiltered, it offers a sensory journey that is both rich and unapologetically powerful.
Created in collaboration with our two respected partners - Bar Lamp in Tokyo and Rhum Attitude in Brussels, this release celebrates shared passion and expertise across continents. The label features a hand-drawn sketch of a Japanese street, paying tribute to the partnership with Bar Lamp and highlighting the cultural bridge behind this exceptional bottling.
Expect an aromatic profile layered with dried tropical fruits - ripe mangoes, bruised nectarines, and candied citrus peel - followed by darker notes of tar, liquorice, and delicate hints of fresh mint and cooling eucalyptus. A heavyweight in every sense: bold, oily, and utterly captivating.
