From the remote volcanic island of La Réunion comes Charity - a radiant tribute to generosity. Beneath the towering tropical sun, sugarcane sprouts from black basalt, gifts of the earth transformed by skilled hands into liquid benevolence.
Distilled in August 2008 from fresh sugarcane juice in Savanna’s Savalle copper column still by distiller Johnny Landais, this exceptionally rare rhum agricole matured for 15 intense years in an ex-Cognac cask, sculpted by ocean storms, wild winds, dry plains, and mist-veiled forests.
Drawn from a single cask (#447) and bottled in May 2024 at cask strength (68.3% ABV) with no additives, Charity embodies the unvarnished soul of Savanna’s agricole craft - the rarest release they have ever laid down.

Aged for fifteen years in tropical heat, it was shaped by the island's wild elements dry plains, misty mountain forests, and crashing waves. Its bouquet bursts with unashamed richness, gifting those who seek its blessing with juicy apricots, mangoes, papayas, dragon fruit, and dried orange peel.
Sweetness and depth on the palate lead to a long, lingering finish, touched by tonka bean and cedarwood. Less than 1% of Savanna's production follows the Rhum Agricole method, and this symbol of generosity stands among its oldest casks.
