Yu Chuan, born in 1982 in Taiwan, is a contemporary artist who graduated from the National Taiwan University of Arts. Currently residing in Shanghai, he combines Western materials with Eastern culture and painting techniques, creating a unique blend of East and West.

Color is a crucial element in Yu Chuan's works. He uses Chinese brush techniques and Western oil paints to express freedom and life on canvas.
