Long Pond 1941 50% Gordon & Macphail. This exceptional rum was distilled in 1941 at Jamaica’s Long Pond distillery, and it embarked on a journey to the UK in 1946. After arriving in Elgin, it aged patiently in oak casks until its bottling in 1999 by Gordon & MacPhail.

Long Pond distillery, nestled in the Jamaican parish of Trelawny near Montego Bay, has been synonymous with sugarcane and rum production since its establishment in 1753. Gordon & MacPhail, is renowned for its independent Scotch whisky bottlings, boasts a rich legacy dating back to the early 20th century.

Thanks to Long Pond distillery’s rum production and Gordon & MacPhail, the bottler responsible for bottling this unique rum, many connoisseurs have the opportunity to acquire a bottle of Long Pond for their collections.
