This Rare Old from Barbados rum is a seldom-seen gem distilled at the West Indies Rum Distillery in 1987, and bottled just nine years later by the esteemed independent bottler Velier. Drawn from casks #20, 21, and 22, only 1,200 bottles of this vintage Barbados rum were ever released, making it a highly desirable collector’s item.
Distilled from molasses and matured for 9 years, this expression is a masterclass in balance - offering a harmonious blend of fruity brightness and gentle oak.
A superb example of aged Barbadian rum before the rise of modern branding - this understated bottling is a treasure from Velier’s early Caribbean ventures.

About the Distillery
